Los Arqueros Golf & Country Club came into existence in the late 1980s when the renowned golfer Seve Ballesteros ventured into golf course design. Construction began in 1989, and by 1991, the club was open for play. Covering roughly 60 hectares, the 18-hole course unfolds across rolling terrain, featuring natural elements like ravines, streams, and lakes. Ballesteros designed it to test golfers’ skills while remaining accessible to players of all levels. Since its inauguration, Los Arqueros has become a premier golf destination in Costa del Sol, attracting enthusiasts from across the globe. The club has hosted numerous professional tournaments, including events on the European Tour’s Challenge Tour.
